Cost of Services

Renew Neurotherapy rates are consistent with psychotherapy and occupational therapy rates across Ontario.  Below you will find a detailed overview of our services and associated rates.

Depending on your insurance coverage, you may have support for a range of services and professions.  At Renew, both occupational therapists and psychotherapists provide neurofeedback therapy, psychotherapy, and counselling.  There are cost and coverage variations because they are two separate professions with two separate regulatory bodies (CRPO and COTO).

Individual therapists at Renew have varying skill sets and offer different services based on extensive additional post-degree training and experience. Please review the therapist’s biographies to learn more about their unique skill set.

Why is Neurofeedback Less Expensive at Renew?

Why is Neurofeedback Less Expensive at Renew?

Neurofeedback is provided by occupational therapists and  psychotherapists at Renew.  Since industry standard rates are less costly than some others (i.e., psychology), neurofeedback costs are also decreased.  Rest assured that this does not impact on your quality of care!  Occupational therapists and psychotherapists are both supported by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (www.bcia.org) as regulated health care providers who are supported in the use of neurofeedback as a part of their practice.

The College of Regulated Psychotherapists of Ontario and College of Occupational Therapists all support the use of biofeedback/neurofeedback as being within psychotherapy and occupational therapy  scope of practice.

Don't I Need to Work with a Psychologist if I Have a Mental Health Issue?

Can occupational therapists and psychotherapists help me with my mental health concerns?

Yes! Members of the following six regulatory colleges are authorized to provide psychotherapy in the Province of Ontario:
