Therapy for First Responders and Veterans

Take control of your life with counselling and therapy services to help with stress, depression and PTSD.

“In your line of work, you’re taught that ’emotions are a liability’ and ‘vulnerability is a weakness.’

But in the long term, carrying the weight of service alone can become exhausting.

Seeking support isn’t about ‘losing your edge’; it’s about sharpening it so you can be as present for your family at home as you are for your team on the job.

You’ve had everyone else’s back. Let us have yours.”

Our Integrated Approach

At Renew Neurotherapy, we don’t just talk about the problem.

We provide the tools to navigate it and move forward.

Veterans and first responders face unique challenges, especially those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Our integrated approach brings together psychotherapy, occupational therapy, and neurofeedback to support meaningful, lasting change; supporting both insight and function.

  • Psychotherapy

We provide a safe, confidential space with therapists who understand the culture of service. We focus on evidence-based approaches like CBT and somatic tools to help you process traumatic events and moral injury, helping you bridge the gap between your professional identity and your personal well-being.

  • Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapists help you translate your recovery into daily life. We work on "skills for life" that help you manage symptoms, build sustainable routines outside of service, and use practical strategies to handle overwhelm in busy, everyday environments.

  • Neurofeedback Training

When appropriate, we can use neurofeedback to help calm the nervous system. When your brain and body feel calmer, it enhances emotional regulation, improves cognitive function, and promotes better sleep patterns. Neurofeedback targets the neurological imbalances associated with PTSD, reducing symptoms such as hyperarousal, flashbacks, and anxiety.
